Roots and Fruits of European Science in Czech, Moravian and Silesian Historical Library Collections

On Tuesday, March 7, the first working meeting of seven institutions (National Museum, National Library of the Czech Republic, National Heritage Institute, National Library of Technology, Moravian Museum, Moravian Library, and the Library of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic) collaborating on a new project “Roots and Fruits of European Science in Czech, Moravian, and Silesian Historical Library Collections” took place. The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic within the National and Cultural Identity grant program. We have a lot of interesting and, yes, exciting work ahead of us. The result will be eight exhibitions and four audio-visual documentaries. We will also be venturing onto thin ice in the realm of film production. You have something to look forward to.
